My daughter is a photographer, which translates into a camera always being within reach in her home.  This is a picture she took earlier this week of my 3 1/2 year old grandson and his "brother", lying in the sun.  He is the most beautiful little soul I have ever encountered, and the tranquility of this picture speaks volumes.

Sometimes, in the midst of a busy day, we should all take time out to lie in the sun with our friends.

Being a bit of a sun worshiper myself, and after an exceptionally long and brutally cold winter, I often envy my dogs - those lazy moments spent just basking in the warmth of the sun coming through the windows are far too perfect in this crazy hectic world.  But, it never once occured to me to lay down beside them and just enjoy the moment for what it is!

Only a 3 year old could seize the moment in this way, and for Cooper and "Bak Bak", it was a perfect moment in the midst of a perfect day.
